The Rochester Elks Lodge on 7th Street NW has been part of this city's social fabric for well over a century. Walk through the door on a Thursday night and you'll find tables of regulars calling out bingo numbers, laughing, and passing time the old-fashioned way. It's the kind of place that doesn't need to advertise itself, because the people who know it keep coming back.

The kitchen earns its reputation honestly. The all-you-can-eat fish fry every Friday draws a loyal crowd for good reason: generous portions, fair prices, and servers who remember your face. Reviews consistently call out the staff's friendliness, and that warmth isn't accidental. It's baked into the culture of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a fraternal organization with roots going back to 1868 nationally.

Beyond the dining room, the Lodge supports Rochester, MN veterans, local charities, and youth programs that rarely make headlines but quietly make a difference. Membership opens doors to a network of Elks Lodges across the country, but the reason most members join is simpler: this specific room, these specific people.

What We Offer

The Lodge runs a full calendar of events and amenities anchored by two crowd favorites. Thursday Bingo nights pack the hall with players of all ages, offering an affordable, genuinely fun evening out. Friday Fish Fry is the weekly anchor: all-you-can-eat, reasonably priced, and served by a staff that actually enjoys their job.

Beyond the weekly staples, the Lodge hosts private event rentals for receptions, reunions, and community gatherings. The bar and dining room provide members a comfortable social space throughout the week. Charitable programming runs year-round, including support for local veterans, scholarship funds for area students, and community service initiatives coordinated through the BPOE national network.

Membership in the Rochester Elks gives you access to all of the above plus reciprocal privileges at Elks Lodges nationwide. Whether you're a longtime Rochesterian or new to the area, the Lodge offers a straightforward way to plug into a community that already knows its neighbors.

"I think I drove into the Elk Lodge parking lot to turn around easily. I've never been in an Elk Lodge and I have no plans of going. Google says I've been here four years ago. They should limit the time they go back asking for reviews to six months. Most people can't remember where they were last week much was 4 years ago. Just so you don't get damaged with a low star rating is five stars"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
